35 things...

1. I now can tick a new age bracket box when filling out forms.........

2. I officially did not make it on a Contiki tour.

3. I would like to learn how to ride a motorbike.

4. Love potion icecream is seriously the best.

5. Losing 4 kilos is hard when you have 6 kilos of love potion in your freezer!

6. I have hardly scrapped this year.

7. I have however created some artwork

8. And been doing some serious decluttering.

9. This is my second year for taking a photo a day.

10. It took me 5 years before I purchased Tiny teddies for my kids.

11. I would be very happy to throw away all my clothes in my wardrobe except for my dressing gown and start again!

12. Our 4wd is called "Fluttershy"! (thanks Lily)

13. I buy lottery tickets in the hope of winning not to pay off my house but purely so I can go on a trip to Antarctica.

14. I really should be doing a Uni assignment right now.

15. This is my fourth year doing Uni (Primary teaching) I have 3 more to go........ hence why I don't scrap much lately.

16. Simplifying my life this year has been a good process.

17. Less is best.

18. We have been without a lounge for 8 weeks now. Camp chairs are uncomfortable. Hooray new lounge is ready to be picked up this weekend.

19. The footy starts this weekend. I HATE THE FOOTY.

20. I would love to learn how to use Adobe photoshop really well.

21. When I was a kid I always said I would marry an Adrian or a Cameron. I married an Adrian!

22. I love that we have 3 kids, it is simply the best.

23. My earliest memory is being pushed in a pram by my Nana.

24. I have a lot of patience.

25. I wish I could draw really well.

26. One day I would like to have a ride in a semi-trailer.

27. My top five travel destinations are; Antarctica, the Arctic circle, Japan, China, and Switzerland.

28. I have already been to Africa, Paris, UK, US and Bali. And travelled around our beautiful country Australia.

29. I can keep a secret really well.

30. I would love to learn another language one day when my life is not so hectic.

31. I need to make a santa sack for Evie this year.

32. I am currently decorating the girls bedroom. Loving that.

33. I would rather go on a holiday then receive presents for my birthday.

 

34. I absolutely love to eat out.

35. Looking forward to having my Mum and Dad to visit next week

I almost forgot that I blogged...........

You know your loved when..

you get a tub of Baskin Robbins Love Potion Icecream this big!!! That's 6kgs worth baby!! Guess you can say we love it. Its our standard order for all the family when we visit Baskin Robbins. We have problems come October when they no longer stock it and we have to go out of our comfort zone and try something new (shock horror!), so we ALL love it when Valentine's comes around and it back in store. So Hubby went to get a tub for V day, asked what the largest size was and then manager joked and said or you could buy the whole tub, so he did! :) LOVE HIM.

February - SIMPLIFY

Little Evie is now 7+ months old - crawling and yesterday was the cutest and learnt to clap. BLISS

Lily is a big kid now started school and although VERY tired loves it - especially going to canteen all by HERSELF.

Jasper is adjusting to not having his big sister stuck to his hip or vice versa. BIG adjustments. But mostly handling preschool on his own well once the morning tears disappear.

University starts again soon, not looking forward to that as I have so LOVED the break these past few months, caught up on a few jobs I have been wanting to do, but as usually there is never enough time and my expectations are always high so I just need to let it go what hasn't been achieved.

One thing has been though so very happy. I FINALLY cleaned up my office. I just wasn't into it when we moved in here months ago, pregnant and all. So last week I spent in my free hours each day or night going through every piece of patterned paper, stickers, punches, magazines (all the way back to 2001!), album you name  it,  I went through it and as my  word of the year is SIMPLIFY - all this STUFF was sorted and recycled.... rubbished..... or repurposed (as in kids craft stuff).

Why do we keep so MUCH stuff???

I had a sticker from Disneyland that I had got from our honeymoon, had kept it for over 11 years waiting for that special time to use it.... it NEVER came. I finally made it come though as I was shaking my head at myself as I peeled it back and put it on my husbands back with a pat and said "love ya". He said, "what that for?" I say "oh nothing" about 10 minutes later he realises what is on his back and complains, I say "don't complain, feel honoured. As I have horded this around for 11 years waiting for a special moment and guess what your it!! Love ya!".... I don't understand how with stationery it can be so precious but with the good china, I am happy to use that everyday. Go figure. So my kids have been happy getting to play with some seriously expensive and outdated paper and stickers!!  Lily is in heaven. So really it was worth the wait. Teddy bears are getting the most fanciest paper outfits I have seen in a long time.

Crazy madness

Holiday decorations

I liked this idea that was on Ali's blog last month so did my own little take on it, I need to add some more hope to do that tomorrow.

 

 

Had Lily and Jasper's preschool Christmas party last night. So cute, love hearing them sing all their christmas songs but best of all, Lily was so intrigued by the facepainter that she got a chair and sat next to her all night (I mean like 1.5 hours) and watched her do the most wonderful and super fast artworks on the kids faces.

Lily you see has never had her face painted ever, not interested, doesn't like it, won't go there. So when the lady was packing up I told her that she had never had it done, she somehow convinced Lily that a lady bug like on her jacket might look pretty good on her hand and someone else agreed. So proud she did it. Now I just have to work on Jasper ...

Becoming a tradition

Over the last few years we have been donating to the Kmart wishing tree, it has been a great way for the kids to learn to understand about the needs of other children and to learn to go without and give when we can.

Seriously simple

Have been having a major catch up in my scrapbooks, gone back into the 2007 scrapbooks and completed these. Don't like getting too far behind when a new year approaches, as this year got right into 2008 and are up to date at least until June.

So here are just some of a few pages I have done recently so I can finish off 2007 at least before 2009 starts!! I am all about quick, quick and quick and seriously simple.

Starting my December daily today. Looking forward to completing one this year.

   

Been away

recharging with girlfriends in Coolum. Bliss.

Our annual girls weekend, catching up, lots of talking, shopping and taking in the sights. Had a bonus girl this year, little Evie, 5 months already!

I so had to capture this moment. I felt like superwoman taking three kids to the supermarket and actually getting almost everything on my list. Adrian said I was a crazy woman! And if you can't already guess the next one is Melbourne cup day and the beginning of Movember.
